Hit-'n-Run

This is one of the first songs I wrote in early 2019. It mostly explains itself, but it was written after letting go of a relationship that wasn’t meant to be and the pain that came along afterward. Everything about the ending of this relationship felt like a hit-n-run so that is where these lyrics were born. I hope you enjoy.

I’m Just a Girl

This is a song I wrote May 2019 after running the Grand Canyon (47 brutal miles) and realizing I can be strong but still have occasional meltdowns and even tough I can do most things myself its nice to have a boy around ;). I hope you enjoy!

Speak when I’m Silent

This is a song I wrote in Feb 2020 inspired by a friend’s recent cancer diagnosis and allowing God to work in the midst of it. The idea of “getting out of the way” and allowing whatever may come. I hope it encourages you that there is a higher power than ourselves at work in this world even when it doesn’t make sense.

Run Away with my Heart

This is a song I wrote Summer 2019 inspired by a crazy first date and wondering if anything will come of it. Hope you enjoy!

Tears are a Lonely Drug

This is a song I wrote last year about the heartache of missing someone. It was inspired in the middle of the night lying there unable to sleep and wanting to put my emotions into words. They are feelings that mostly get better with time and understanding but can be so heart wrenching at the time. I hope this song speaks into what that feels like.

Paper Crowns

This song was written for a friend of mine stuck in a relationship that kept leading her back to being treated poorly. Walking through it with her, inspired me to write a song to tell her she is worth more than how she was being treated. Paper crowns aren’t enough when you are a daughter of the King. It has spoken into the lives of many other people enduring similar situations and if you are one of them these words are for you.
